A Chartered and Registered Physiotherapist with a specialised degree in Sport Rehabilitation at St. Mary's University. Ruth not only posseses sound biomechanical knowledge but has also gained valuable experience of injuries and exercise correction especially from an athlete's perspective.

Ruth has several leading British teams and sports personalities as her clients these include - Paralympic athletes, Great Britain Women Basketball Team, Wales Senior National Basketball Teams, British Police Basketball Team, Wales Touch Rugby Squads, Wales Women Rugby Team, professional and amateur boxers, UWIC Basketball and Athletics teams as well as the Cardiff Schools Rugby Team.

Ruth has also lectured on Sports Therapy Health & Fitness as well as Sports Massage diploma courses.

Ruth is a member of the following societies:- BASRaT (British Association of Sports Rehabilitations and Athletic Trainers), Member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (MCSP), Health Professionals Council (HPC). As well as gaining her certified strength and conditioning certificate from NSCA.

When Ruth isn't treating injuries, she herself is an International sports woman, representing Wales at both Basketball (where she has gained over 50 caps) and Touch rugby.

She is currently Club Captain and a founder member of the UWIC Archers basketball Team and competes weekly at the top flight of British Basketball.
